EDWARDO - FEDERICO ZANNI
Federico trained at ArtsEd. He recently played Sir Henry Irving in the new
play The Quite Peculiar and Irresistible Charm of Ellen Terry.
Last year, he played Pancho in the West End revival of The Night
of the Iguana.
His TV credits include: Never Better, Party Animals, Hotel Babylon 2,
Afterlife 2, The Complete Guide to Parenting, The Girl in the Café, The
Taming of the Shrew, 10 Days to Victory.
THE YOUNG MAN - NICHOLAS KAPRENKO
Nicholas began acting with Cheltenham based theatre company Voice in
regional tours of Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet. He also
spent a month performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with physical theatre
piece, Red Sky. Highlights whilst training at Mountview included his
performance as Leonard Ardsley in Somerset Maugham’s For Services
Rendered.
Since then, Nicholas has performed as Abanazar in Aladdin and
played Macbeth in Macbeth, as well as Benedick in Much
Ado About Nothing. He has also filmed a commercial for UKTV. Recently
he toured Norfolk and Suffolk with the children’s play The Emperor’s
New Clothes and took the role of Garcin in Jean Paul Sartre’s Huis
Clos, which was performed at The Pleasance Theatre in London as part
of a New Directors Showcase.
THE OLD MAN - SAUL REICHLIN
Saul’s theatre work includes the leading roles of Valentine in Love
for Love, (National Theatre) Capt Ahab in Moby Dick,
and Josef Mashkan in Old Wicked Songs, for which he was nominated
Best Actor in 2001.
On TV Saul played the lead role in The President File on
Ch 4; Defence Counsel opposite Danny Glover in the TV film, Mandela by
Oscar winning Ronald Harwood; and key roles in This Life, Miss Marple,
Lockerbie, Wall of Silence, Head Hunter, and Poirot..
He may be seen in a featured role in Point Men for Bond director,
John Glen. Now You’re Talking, Saul’s celebrated
dramatisation of the stories of Sholom Aleichem (Fiddler On the Roof) has now
toured 35 cities worldwide, including 11 weeks in London, a 9 week Off Broadway
season and 8 weeks in Chicago. His other one-man portrayals include Tony
Hancock, Whistler and Gimpel the Fool, by Nobel laureate, I B Singer. Saul won
Best Director award for his production of The Purification by
Tennessee Williams, and is an experienced teacher and theatre critic!
AUTHOR & PRODUCER - JON BONFIGLIO
Jonathan Bonfiglio is a writer, director and independent producer. This
summer he is directing Nick Awde's Blood Confession in Edinburgh.
In the autumn he will be promoting various music nights around the country, as
well as producing the inaugural CASA Theatre Festival in London and running visual
arts projects in Vietnam and Cambodia. In addition, he also continues to produce the
Dos Equis Series of emerging Mexican art. Last year, amongst other projects, Territory (devised
in conjunction with grass roots artists in Zimbabwe) premiered at the Harare
International Festival of the Arts in 2006 before touring to London and Edinburgh,
and Nocturn played at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer in
Clerkenwell, London in November 2006.Jonathan has just completed his first novel
- Acapulco Falls - and is currently working on his fifth play,
Pluto, based on the recent reclassification of the planets.

PRODUCER & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR OF GRIT - JOE FREDERICKS
Joe is an actor, director and composer. Last year he directed the premier of the short play Nocturn and early next year will be directing and composing for the premier of Pluto. Joe has also been an Associate Director, Project Manager and Assistant Director for the multi award winning Steam Industry's open air summer seasons at The Scoop Theatre, on the Southbank in London since 2002. He has also been Musical Director & Resident Composer for all nine productions there, including Helen of Troy, The Caucasion Chalk Circle, Agamemnon, Treasure Island and Oedipus. Acting credits include Eddie Lyons in Blood Brothers (Phoenix) Nigel in Blowing Whistles (The Sound Theatre & originally at the Croydon Warehouse) and Jerry Allison in Buddy (The Strand) Around The World in 80 Days (Liverpool Playhouse, Guilford, Richmond); Ben in The Dumb Waiter (Allplay); Creeping Wally in Sleeping Beauty (Salisbury Playhouse); Simon in The Caucasion Chalk Cirlce, Captain Smollett in Treasure Island, Demophon in Children of Hercules, The Watchman in Agamemnon, (all at The Scoop Theatre, The Southbank) TV acting credits include Rhys in Eastenders and Liam Roberts in Wire in the Blood, both the BBC and ITV respectively.
DIRECTOR - TAREK ISKANDER
Born in Sunderland to Egyptian parents, Tarek spent most of childhood living
in Kuwait – only returning to England after being airlifted out of
the country during the first Gulf War. Previous directing credits include Accidental
Death of an Anarchist (Hackney Empire Acorn Theatre), Macbeth (Theatro
Technis) and The Desk (radio play). He has also assisted
Paines Plough with a wide range of readings and performances at venues
such as the Young Vic, Soho Theatre, Trafalgar Studios and the Shakespeare’s
Globe. His next directing project will be the UK premiere of Athol Fugard’s The
Coat, jointly produced by Tara Arts and Community20 (touring production).
DESIGNER - LORETTA LIPWORTH
Loretta is an emerging designer for theatre,
film and TV. Since graduating from Wimbledon
School of Art in 2006, she has taken on a variety of roles including
Assistant Designer for Murder In The Cathedral at St
Paul's Church in Covent Garden; Prop-Maker, Set & Costume Assistant
for Tour de Force Theatre Company’s touring productions
of Animal Farm and Huls Clos; Costume
Assistant for a music performance by The Irrepressibles at
The Roundhouse; Production Assistant for short films Final Exmaination and Matador;
Costume Assistant for The Bitches Ball at Hoxton Hall;
and Painter's Assistant for upcoming period drama City of Vice.
Loretta has just finished her most recent project working as Art Director
for Gradiva, a graduation film for the London Film
School.
SOUND DESIGNER* - KELLI ZEZULKA
Kelli trained at LAMDA. Sound design credits include: The Revengers
Tragedy, Ice Cream and Hot Fudge, Five Visions of the Faithful, My Night
with Reg (MacOwan Theatre), Measure for Measure,
Money Makes You Happy (Bridewell Theatre), Hide
the Front Page! (Hen and Chickens Theatre). Kelli is a Lighting
